Only the voice of Aburazemi(brown cicada) stands out in place of Niiniizemi(kaempfer cicada) and Kumazemi(bear cicada).  The sound of hot water is mixed with it to create a rhythm.  The steam rising from the bath makes the scenery around me look hazy.  The hot springs after climbing the mountain are exceptional.  Washing away the sweat that blows out and soaking in boiling water, I will forget the heat and even feel at ease.  Many memories of summer will be revived.  It feels me like looking at a magic lantern that the same picture doesn’t appear whether making one or two turns.  How many more pictures can be pasted in the future from now?  What kind of picture can I put on it?  The scenery that is hazy in the steam becomes even more hazy and difficult to see.

ニイニイゼミやクマゼミに代わってアブラゼミの声ばかりが目立ちます。それに湯音が混ざってリズムを作ります。湯船から立ち上る湯気で辺りの景色が霞んで見えます。山登りを終えた後の温泉は格別です。吹き出す汗を洗い流し、熱湯に浸るとかえって暑さを忘れ、安らぎさえ覚えます。夏の沢山の思い出が蘇ります。一回転しても二回転しても同じ絵ではない走馬灯を見ている感じです。これから先、さらに何枚の絵が貼れるでしょう。どんな絵が貼れるでしょう。湯煙に霞む景色がさらに霞んで見え難くなってきます。
