I received fresh bitter gourd.  What immediately came to my mind was the NHK TV series “Chimu Dondon”.  Of course, the story flows are, but another thing that worries me is the variety of Okinawan dishes.  There will be a scene where they eat delicious food like every time.  And there is always a telop of the dish name.  This is a rare scene in dramas.  Among such Okinawan dishes, “Okinawa soba” often appears in important scenes!  As a noodle lover like me, I can’t stand it.  So, today I’ll challenge the goya Chanpuru.  Chanpuru means “mixed things” in the Okinawan dialect, so I feel like I can do it.

取り立てのゴーヤをいただきました。直ぐ思い出したのがNHK連続テレビ小説『ちむどんどん』です。物語の行方はもちろんですが、もう一つ気になるのが沖縄料理の数々です。毎回のように美味しそうに料理を食べるシーンが出てきます。そして必ず料理名のテロップが付いています。ドラマでは珍しいシーンです。そんな沖縄料理のなかでも、重要なシーンで度々登場するのが「沖縄そば」！麺類の好きな僕には耐えられません。ということで、今日はゴーヤチャンプルに挑戦です。チャンプルとは沖縄方言で「混ぜこぜにしたもの」という意味だそうですから、僕にもできそうな気がします。
