Twenty days late news of the first snow began to arrive.  Even in Osaka, the temperature was 1°C this morning, and I felt winter for the first time.  Christmas trees are decorated early, and at night, you can also see houses decorated with illuminations.  In Kansai, the famous Kobe Luminarie has been canceled again this year, and it has been canceled for the third consecutive year.  In these three years, which were spent day and night due to the corona misfortune, the bustle of the end of the year has gradually returned, but in inverse proportion to that, the number of people infected with corona is increasing again.  It seems that we have to deal with corona in the same way as we deal with colds and flu.  I want to take care of the infection as much as possible and enjoy this end of the year.

二十日遅れの初雪の便りが届き始めました。大阪でも今朝は気温1℃、初めて冬を実感しました。早々とクリスマスツリーが飾られ、夜ともなれば、イルミネーションを飾る家も目に着きます。関西では有名な神戸ルミナリエが今年も中止になり、三年連続の中止という事になりました。コロナ禍で明け暮れた三年、年末の賑わいも徐々に戻ってきましたが、それに反比例してまたコロナ感染者数が増えています。風邪やインフルエンザと同じ様にコロナとも付き合っていかねばしょうがない様です。できるだけ感染対策をしてこの年末を楽しみたいものです。
