The 25th Kobe Luminarie has been held since December 6th.  This event is held to wish for the requiem of approximately 6,500 dead people and the Kobe reconstruction due to the Great Hanshin Earthquake every December.

The autumn leaves are still beautiful because of the Global warming.  It shines in five colors with red, yellow and adding green leaves. But I’m sorry that we just can’t be simply happy about this.

A soba restaurant was found in the mountain village.  Chrysanthemum flowers are in bloom at the entrance.  Steaming soba noodles and chrysanthemum incense are unique to this season.

There has been a custom in Japan for a long time called “Komorigaki” where the harvest leaves some of the fruit. It has the meaning of giving thanks to the harvest or giving it to the birds.

Flowers are in bloom in the dead field.  But when I look closely, they are not flowers but burr-grasses. They are really beautiful and cute like flowers in full bloom. In this way, the flowers leave their offspring.

Koyasan Mikage-do is where Kobo Daishi Kukai lived everyday.  It is left as a memorial temple with his postmortem image.  The golden lanterns hang around the temple and shine in the autumn morning sun.

The play “Shuzenji Monogatari” written by Okamoto Kidoh is a popular Kabuki program. General Kamakura Yoriie orders the master of making masks to make his mask. A tragedy involving a daughter Katsura is unfolded from that thing.

Taimadera Temple is one of the oldest temples in Japan in Katsuragi City, Nara Prefecture. The original of Taima Mandala that represents the universe of the Buddhist world  has been secretly stored at this temple.

Yamazato country is a winter landscape.  The leaves of the trees are scattered all over, and the cry of Yamabato is heard with the sound of the clear stream.  During such mid-winter, the cherry blossoms create a cheerful atmosphere.

Nanzen-ji Temple is one of the most renowned Zen Buddhist temples in Japan. The Nanzen-in Temple there is especially popular among tourists for its autumn foliage. The temple is nice, but I am attracted to the boiled-tofu too.
