Azami flowers are blooming splendidly on the promenade where the morning dew remains.  I quickly took a picture with my smartphone.  “Azami no Uta” immediately comes to mind.  And the first thing I want to hear is Nini Rosso’s trumpet “Azami no Uta”.  In Italy, the country of canzone, instrumentalists are not given much attention.  Nini Rosso is another trumpeter who has become more famous internationally than domestically.  He became famous for “Trumpet in the Night Sky”.  He came to Japan for the first time in 1967, and Japan became his favorite and he came to Japan every year.  He performed songs from all genres of Japan, including “Azami no Uta”.  Before one knows, at the end of the year, he would come to Japan instead of Santa Claus, and each time he would donate his net profits, visit facilities, hold trumpet classes, and inspire people with both his music and his private life. It is widely known by people.

朝露が残る散歩道にアザミの花見事に咲いています。早速スマホで写真を撮りました。直ぐに思い出すのが『あざみの歌』。そしていちばん最初に聴きたくなるのがニニ・ロッソのトランペットが奏でる『あざみの歌』です。カンツォーネの国イタリアでは器楽奏者は余り注目されません。ニニ・ロッソも国内よりも世界で有名になったトランペット奏者です。『夜空のトランペット』で一躍有名になりました。日本には1967年に初めて来日しましたが、日本は彼には一番のお気に入りになり、毎年日本に来る様になりました。『あざみの歌』を始め、日本のあらゆるジャンルの曲を演奏しました。いつしか年末にはサンタ・クロース代わりに来日するのが常となり、そのたびに純益金を寄附したり、施設を訪問したり、トランペット教室を開いたり、人々の心を音楽と私生活の両面でなごませてくれたことは、広く知られるところです。
