Although summer day continues, the sea water is still cold. All over the side where the white sand approaches, beach bindweeds are blooming. The blue sea, white sand, and the mountain range far beyond, and then the blue sky. If you change your perspective, these alone are a truly desolate landscape. Adding beach bindweeds there makes the landscape suddenly vibrant and colorful. Roses, peonies, and irises wouldn’t fit. Only beach bindweeds blends in with the scenery. Along the path through the white sand, large rocks lie here and there, and beach bindweeds hang down, lined up like pale pink starfish. It’s summer. It seems to tell us that it will soon be noisy. From May to June, they bloom before the rainy season and eventually bear fruit. The fruit rides on ocean currents, drifts to some shore, and makes flowers bloom again, changing the scenery.
