Tsuwano, which is called Sanin’s small Kyoto, is a beautiful town in the calm mountainous area of western Shimane Prefecture. In the center of the town, the old atmosphere of the castle town period remains, and in the early summer, the Japanese iris flowers are in bloom in the street canal and many colorful carps such as red, white, gold and black are swimming there.

山陰の小さな京都と呼ばれる津和野は、島根県西部の穏やかな山岳地帯にある美しい町です。 町の中心部には城下町時代の古い雰囲気が残っており、初夏には、白い漆喰塀を映した掘割に花菖蒲が咲き、その花菖蒲を掻い潜るようにして、赤、白、金、黒などの色とりどりの鯉が泳いでいます。
