The Baiu front has also disappeared from the weather map.  Since the cold air mass remains high in the sky, It’s not completely sunny, but it will soon be the beginning of full-scale summer.  Beach plants such as Hamanasu, Hamayu, and Hamago, etc, bloom on the beach, waiting for people to visit.  No matter how old I get, I am excited about the arrival of summer.  Even if I trace the memories, I think that I have the most memories of summer.  When I was in elementary school, junior high school, high school, and from that time to the present, the memories of each time come out.  Of course, it’s not just fun memories, but I can only remember fun memories.  When I sit on the beach, watch the flowers on the beach, and listen to the sound of the waves crashing regularly, I feel myself disappearing beyond the horizon.

梅雨前線も天気図から消えました。上空高い所に寒気団が残っているため、すっかり快晴とはいかないまでも、間もなく本格的な夏の幕開けです。海辺にはハマナス、ハマユウ、ハマゴウなどの海浜植物が花を咲かせ、人の訪れを待っています。幾つ何十になっても夏の訪れにはワクワクします。思い出を辿ってもやはり夏の思い出が一番多いように思います。小学生の時、中学生の時、高校生の時、その時から今に至るまで、その時々の思い出が沸々と湧き出てきます。もちろん楽しい思い出だけではないはずですが、楽しい思い出しか思い出せません。こうして浜辺に座って、海辺の花を見ながら、規則正しく打ち寄せる波の音に耳を傾けていると、水平線の彼方に消えていく自分を感じます。
