After passing through the Amagi Tunnel and going down the Shimoda Highway, you will come to the quiet Nanadaru Onsen, which stands in the Kawazugawa Valley. People came to call it because of the seven waterfalls that line the Kawazu River. It is a waterfall created by columnar joints of the Amagi mountain system. Shokeidaru Fall is one of them, about 10m in height and about 7m in width, and at this time, the flow is so roaring. There is a bronze statue of “Izu Dancer” next to the fall. In this area, all “waterfalls” are called “daru.”
